when engine is off generator not spinning, there's no power and it's not needed because solenoid is not blocking fuel so starting is not an issue.

I understand that the hose that comes off the bottom of the carb solenoid goes to the airbox. Unless your ambient temps STAY moderate, you WILL need a choke. .

I converted my 7000EXL to tri fuel, but got a spare choke lever, cut it so size. Theres a manual posted over on the CBR forums, that depicts what you need to change when deliting the dai solenoid, basically you polug the airbox hoses directly into the pressure sides of the float bowls/lower vaccum piston; and remove the low speed circuit completely. Connect one end of the new wire to the positive terminal of the battery, and connect the other end to the coil.
